The RIVOLIER Group is proud to announce the acquisition of THIFAN INDUSTRIE, a French ammunition manufacturer based in Saint-Doulchard since 1992.
A company renowned for its expertise, Thifan Industrie has continued to grow in order to offer hunters and shooters products incorporating cutting-edge technologies.

Through this acquisition, Rivolier becomes the owner of the Sauvestre brand, as well as the BFS (Sauvestre Arrow Bullet) and FIP (Internal Range Arrow) technologies. Sauvestre products are now considered unique benchmarks in ballistics on the market.
The Rivolier Group intends to continue Thifan Industrie’s current strategy, based on the quality and performance of Sauvestre ammunition, while supporting its growth in France and internationally.

A 200-year-old family-owned business based in the Loire region, Rivolier has established itself as one of France’s leading distributors of hunting and sport shooting equipment, as well as security and defense equipment. Following the acquisition of Verney-Carron, the historic flagship of the arms industry based in Saint-Étienne, and the acquisition of a stake in Jocker, a cartridge manufacturer near Toulouse, the Rivolier Group is taking a new step forward by integrating a new industrial entity.

In doing so, Rivolier is strengthening its presence in France and reaffirming its commitment to contributing to national sovereignty by making “Made in France” a priority.
